The Academic Graduate Studies in Administration Program at FGV EBAPE consists of the MSc and PhD in Administration. Closely connected, these courses share the same values and principles. The Graduate Program in Psychology at PUC-Campinas was created in the late seventies. It originated from a Specialization Course that, when consolidated, made it possible to create an Academic Master's Degree with an area of ​​concentration in clinical psychology. From the theoretical point of view, the two main approaches that were already present in the training of undergraduate students of the then Institute of Psychology - behavioral and psychoanalytic - were respected. The construction of the Master's course counted on the arrival of prestigious professors, recognized both in Brazil and abroad, who contributed to the training of the first masters in Clinical Psychology at the University and in the region. From the end of the 70s to the beginning of the 90s, 125 masters in Clinical Psychology were trained and the program's faculty comprised fifteen researchers. From 1990, due to a growing demand, a new area of ​​concentration in the master's degree - school psychology was created. With the operation of this new area, several changes occurred, among them the restructuring of the physical space and the expansion of the teaching staff. The diversity of theoretical positions and the context conducive to scientific debate contributed to the necessary maturation of the Program, qualifying it for the submission to CAPES of the proposal for the Doctorate course that had the approval, support and institutional enthusiasm. The incentive had arisen from CAPES's own evaluators who considered that there was sufficient maturity to create the doctoral level in order to make the Program complete. The Multicentric Graduate Program in the area of ​​Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, stricto sensu, at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Governador Valadares campus (PMBqBM / UFJF-GV), started its activities on March 1, 2016. The program offers academic masters and doctoral courses for graduates of courses in the health fields. It is the result of the association of researchers from the campus to the PMBqBM who try to establish a productive network with researchers in the area of ​​Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from other regions. The PMBqBM / UFJF-GV also works to strengthen the production and dissemination of scientific knowledge in the Vale do Rio Doce region. The selection of regular students takes place through an announcement issued in the month of October of each year.

The principle of sustainable development is to satisfy the needs of the present generation without compromising the possibilities of future generations to do the same. This principle guides the actions of the UEG Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Sustainable Rural Development, which is being proposed with the aim of developing the skills of professionals linked to the Agrarian Sector and that they seek and support the transition process to sustainable rural development in the various spheres of the agricultural sector. The course includes three lines of research: Animal production, plant production, and rural management and extension.

The Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Governance, Technology, and Innovation (MGTI), from the Catholic University of Brasilia (UCB), is a professional master's program whose target audience is professionals who want to improve innovation and management processes in the context of digital transformation. Technology, knowledge management, strategic management, decision making, and decision support systems, intelligence, innovation, organizational learning, and governance are studied both in the Federal Public Administration and in the Private Sector. Therefore, the program is an ideal space for professionals from various institutions, for example, professionals from the Federal Court of Accounts, the Federal Comptroller General, from banking institutions, from the Federal Direct Administration.

The Graduate Program in Mechatronic Systems (PPMEC) of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (ENM), Faculty of Technology (FT), University of Brasilia (UnB) aims to (i) deepen the knowledge acquired by graduates and post-graduates in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar areas, at the Academic Master and Doctorate levels, to work in scientific research, technology development and teaching, (ii) produce new knowledge in areas related to Mechatronic Systems and ( iii) disseminate them through the appropriate means.

The main objective of the Master’s Degree in Zootechnics is to contribute to the scientific and technological development in this field of knowledge, increasing efficiency and sustainably establishing animal production. Other specific objectives of the program are: Research: develop the main animal production systems in the region influenced by the program; identify the main problems which need scientific and technological development; bring technological development to the region through scientific actions. Class education: develop professionals at a Master’s level so that they can meet the demands of (private and public) education institutions concerning teaching, research, and community outreach in the field of Science and Animal Technology. Community outreach: promote inter-institutional and multidisciplinary actions of applied research, approaching not only problem diagnosis but also scientific solutions for issues regarding animal production systems in the region.

Acupuncture has been recognized as a specialty in the health area since 1985, it is an integral part of the set of therapies classified since 2006 as “Complementary Integrative Practice” - PIC, but it has been part of the therapeutic arsenal at the three levels of health care for much longer. It consists of inserting needles in specific points of the body, associated with other forms of stimulation of these points (such as suction cups, heating, electrostimulation, low-power laser, etc.), and it has been practiced for millennia. The first historical findings of its use in the treatment of disease date back more than 4,000 years. From the 1960s on, acupuncture began to be understood in a scientific way in academic circles, through the theories of neuromodulation and immunological response to treatment.

In a scenario in which life expectancy and the evolution of chronic diseases are increasingly accentuated factors, professionals who seek knowledge to meet these needs stand out. In this context, the specialization course in clinical nutrition aims to complement the training of professionals, with all theoretical and scientific resources applied to the professional universe. The objectives of the course are: Offer subsidies for nutritionists to analyze balanced decision-making for the promotion, maintenance, and recovery of health; Provide a high level of scientific and professional development for professionals; Train holistic professionals, who can act as leaders, leaders or other strategic functions in the health area.

The Graduate Program in Mineral Engineering (PPGEMin) encompasses strictu sensu graduate courses at the Academic Master and Doctorate levels and has regular and special students. The main objectives of the Program are: Train high-level professionals to work in teaching, research, or technological development, within the scope of Mineral Engineering; Conduct scientific and technological research of an innovative nature, reflected in the production of knowledge linked to Brazilian needs; Contribute to the sustainability of mineral-based extractive industries, by generating and evaluating technologies and procedures that minimize adverse environmental and social impacts and maximize positive contributions; Dialogue and develop partnerships with the private sector, with governmental and third sector organizations, seeking to contribute to making the Brazilian mineral-based extractive industry more competitive, productive and sustainable; Contribute to a greater insertion of USP and the Polytechnic School in the international scientific and technological community, through cooperation agreements, personnel exchange, participation in examining boards, organization of technical-scientific events, performance in editorial boards of journals, and other initiatives. The Academic Master's program aims at mastering and carrying out technical-scientific work that demonstrates the ability to systematize the existing literature on the treated topic and the ability to use scientific and technological research methods and techniques. The Doctorate aims at mastering and carrying out technical-scientific research work that represents an original contribution to the state of the art of the treated topic.

The Graduate Program in Dentistry of the School of Dentistry at Araraquara -State University of Sao Paulo (UNESP) is the result of the fusion between the Graduate Programs of Periodontics and Endodontics in 2007.

To provide students with the acquisition of scientific knowledge about the health-disease process, disease prevention, and health promotion, seeking to integrate laboratory, clinical and epidemiological studies. Develop and use modern and innovative laboratory technology for the diagnosis of diseases prevalent in the region; Identify the determinants of diseases prevalent in the region; Know and create tools relevant to the management of health services in the region and their impact on health care for the population; Encourage research with a view to offering subsidies to the elaboration of public health actions, to improve people's quality of life; Interact with other graduate programs in the country and abroad, enabling academic-scientific exchange; Train teachers for higher education and professionals to meet the needs of society, with a critical, humanistic, and ethical vision.

The Professional Master's Program in Mechanical Engineering is recommended by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) of the Ministry of Education, and currently has a grade of 3 (between 1 and 5). The course's mission is: I) To train qualified masters to develop academic and technical-scientific activities that meet the demands of research and technological innovation, as well as to promote the development of scientific and technological research in the industrial sector. II) Transfer knowledge to society, meeting specific demands with a view to local, regional and national scientific development. III) Promote the integrated articulation of vocational training with demanding entities of different natures, aiming to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of public and private organizations by solving problems and generating and applying appropriate innovation processes. IV) Contribute to add competitiveness and increase productivity in companies, public and private organizations. V) To strengthen the relationship between professors, students, and researchers at the University of Taubaté and institutions of teaching, research and technological development, and industries, in line with the Brazilian science and technology policy and the National Postgraduate Plan established by CAPES for the period 2011-2020.
