Based on the creation of 3D content and design, the special effects professionals in the market develop projects, combining hyper-realism in computer graphics and digital effects with films and digital cinema, ranging from fire simulation, particles, characters and digital stunts, to chroma key and matte paint.

The BA (Hons) 3D Computer Animation & Modeling degree is focused on 3D computer graphics and allows generalists and specialists to study everything from character animation and storytelling to digital modeling of characters in high-tech environments and vehicles. The course also covers concept art and design, digital texture, virtual lighting, technical direction (such as rigging, coding, and hair and fabric simulation), and architectural visualization.
