Introduction
The study plan for the Undergraduate Degree in Design consists of 240 credits, structured in 4 academic years of 60 credits each. The first two years are made up of Mandatory subjects (MS) and Basic Training (BT), common to all majors. Even so, in some subjects specific syllabi are already taught and work and activities are developed according to the chosen itinerary.
The specialized and elective subjects (ES) are taught from the third year onwards and delve into theoretical and practical knowledge specific to each major. The subjects are complemented by the completion of mandatory internships in companies, and the development of the Final Degree Project, which is the last pedagogical record to evaluate the knowledge acquired by students during the training period.
At ESDI we have collaboration agreements with all types of companies in the product design sector and its different areas: industrial design, furniture, lighting, packaging, digital manufacturing, etc. Our students in the product specialty have completed their internships in companies such as Seat, SAYE, Plat Institute, Luis Eslava, BD Barcelona, MàTrencada, Canaled, Creare Studio, Espai Creactiu, ALOS Design, FAD Foment de les Arts i del Disseny, Rojo Sillón, or Ebader We transformed the Wood, among many others.
