Education is a broad domain with a number of specialty domains. These include such specializations as learning development and instruction, early childhood development, elementary and secondary education, special education, adult education, educational research, curriculum design, literacy studies, language education, mathematical studies, teacher education, and other specialties.

All of our programs are duly licensed by the Puerto Rico Board of Education (CEPR) and accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). At the undergraduate level (teacher preparation programs), we have the specialized accreditation granted by The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).

The Doctoral Program in Education with a specialization in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Environments is intended to prepare a professional with the theoretical and practical knowledge that will allow you to apply the principles and foundations of the curriculum in the design, implementation and evaluation of educational programs. The learning environments in this doctoral program provide an approach to the curricular aspects that affect the training of the curriculum specialist in the selected study environment.

With state authorization number 003620, issued by the Ministry of Public Education of Nayarit, and federal authorization number DEGESPE / 2465/15 dated September 25, 2015, issued by the Ministry of Basic Education and the General Directorate of Higher Education for Education Professionals, it is an educated program, with a duration of two years (six semesters), whose graduates will contribute to improving educational quality to help raise the level of academic achievement of students of basic and upper secondary education, through the innovation of hope, to produce learning.

The Doctoral Program in Education with a specialization in Educational Leadership aims to prepare a professional with the theoretical and practical knowledge that will allow you to apply organizational processes and leadership theories that promote the development of strategies, mental habits and values for creative leadership and highly effective in the educational company.

The Doctorate in Education, in its non-school modality, consists of four phases or periods, which can be completed in two years. However, each student can take it in more or fewer months, depending on the time they dedicate to each subject. The maximum length of stay in each phase or period is one year. In addition, there is a preparatory course to prepare participants who do not have prior training for educational research.
