Humanitas University is an international University dedicated to Life Sciences based in Milan, Italy.
Closely integrated with the world class Hospital and Research Centre, Humanitas University’s mission is to train globally minded healthcare professionals through state-of-the-art interactive teaching methods and close integration with its clinical and research community.
Humanitas University Medicine degree course, conducted entirely in English, offers each year 180 places, 130 for Eu students and 50 for No-Eu. At the moment the 40% of our students come from abroad.
In addition to the course of Medicine there is also a degree course in MEDTEC, a brand-new and innovative programme that merges Medicine with Biomedical Engineering entirely taught in English. For this course there are 70 places available each year, 60 for Eu students and 10 for No-Eu.
Humanitas University offers also two other degree courses in Nursing and in Physiotherapy, both held in Italian.
Lessons are conducted in the new Campus, designed according to the most modern standards in terms of technology and environmental comfort to promote opportunities for meetings and exchanges between teachers, researchers and students from all over the world.
One of the key asset of the Campus is the Simulation Centre: a high-tech space, among the largest in Europe, available to students, postgraduates and health professionals, who can be trained on the basis of different levels of specialization and complexity.
On September 2018, Humanitas University opened the brand new Student House just inside the Campus area.

Scholarships & funding
In order to attract the most talented and motivated candidates, Humanitas University has established a merit-based scholarship program, with scholarships worth between 6,000 and 20,000 € each year.

Humanitas offers a USMLE Preparation Course for all students who wish to sit the exam and start their residency in USA.
Erasmus+ Project and Travel Grants offered to live a study experience abroad thanks to the international network with research centers and foreign medical Institutions.
Our Mario Luzzatto's Simulation Center is the largest and most technologically advanced center in Europe and it offers state-of-the-art educational courses and hands-on workshops.
Student lifestyle
Humanitas University welcomes the first-year students organizing a dedicated moment for them: the Integration Day, a day of activities to help the first-year students to discover Milan and getting to know each other. All Hunimed students are invited to get involved with lots of projects and extracurricular activities organized by the University, such as the Hunimed Gala Night (an evening dedicated to students to celebrate the end of the academic year) or the several Sports Teams.
