6 Educational Leadership Masters Degree Programs in Central America and Caribbean

The Master’s in Educational Leadership at the University of Belize (UB) is a graduate-level program designed to respond to the growing demand for highly skilled, visionary leaders in the education sector.

The Master's Program in Education with a Specialty in Educational Leadership will train graduates with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will allow them to: Exercise their functions as a transformative leader, in public and private educational organizations, effectively, ethically, and productively; promote through innovative instructional and managerial practices a school climate conducive to the learning of all constituents, promote the formation and strengthening of a learning community in constant development and the creation and maintenance of an organizational culture oriented to the service of the highest quality for all your customers. This will be characterized by the attitude towards collaboration, participation, and the sense of commitment of all participants.

The Master of Education with Educational Management and Teaching Competences aims to: Train teachers in Education capable of providing solutions to the different educational contexts, which allow directing and establishing strategies that allow managing administrative functions, decision-making to implement improvements and the capacity to evaluate schools.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM: Contribute to the positive transformation of the educational system and institutions, in order to make effective the right to quality education for all Chihuahuan girls, boys, and young people, through the training of educational leaders.

This Master's Degree is the only program that contributes to transforming education into a place for meeting and collaboration designed to build a fairer society.

All of our programs are duly licensed by the Puerto Rico Board of Education (CEPR) and accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). At the undergraduate level (teacher preparation programs), we have the specialized accreditation granted by The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
