The Master of Arts is a flexible, postgraduate degree that allows you to undertake a bespoke research project on a topic of your choice. It will equip you with deep knowledge to bolster your CV, demonstrate your expertise and prepare you for a PhD should you wish to continue your studies.

This Medical Assistant program is an evening program taught over three (3) semesters. It will prepare students for entry-level positions in ambulatory health care settings, such as physician offices and outpatient clinics.

Integrating visual arts with psychotherapy, this American Art Therapy Association-accredited master of arts degree program engages the creative power of art for mental health assessment and treatment, preparing you to work in clinical practice with people of all ages in a variety of settings including hospitals and clinics, mental health agencies, prisons, schools, elder care facilities, art studios, and in private practice. Graduates meet educational requirements for the Registered Art Therapist (ATR) credential in the United States.

The Master of Arts in Counseling and Art Therapy program provides education and training in clinical mental health counseling and prepares competent, entry-level Art Therapists in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills) and affective (behavior) learning domains. Students learn to aid clients in exploring personal potentials and problems through both visual and verbal expression.

Students who complete the Master of Art degree in Art Therapy emerge with clinical and research experience in preparation for the national credential ATR—Registration as an Art Therapist. Students are also prepared to test for board certification as art therapists and licensed mental health counselors in the state of Indiana. The Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling is committed to providing a high quality and holistic educational experience.

The new track of the Master of Arts in Clinical Art Therapy and Counseling Program provides education and training in Art Therapy and Professional Counseling. This Master of Arts graduate degree is a total of 60 credits, 48 credits taken in the current Clinical Art Therapy program and 12 credits taken from the Department of Counseling and Development.

Adler University’s Master of Arts (M.A.) in Counseling: Art Therapy program prepares socially responsible counselors to use the creative process to improve individuals’ physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of some of society’s most marginalized populations. Students gain the knowledge and skills to create real change in individuals’ lives through art.

Expressive Arts Therapy is one of five master’s programs offered through CIIS’ Counseling Psychology department. The pedagogy provides an engaging online, hybrid curriculum that weaves multimodal expressive arts, such as visual and digital arts, music, dance and movement, poetry, spoken word, and drama into all courses.
