Introduction
Governance and Economics in Public Sector (4 Years)
The joint doctoral degree Program Governance and Economics in the Public Sector is interdisciplinary-oriented, as it contains subjects from legal, economic, managerial, organisational and information sciences. Students have a wide choice of courses within the individual disciplines, which means they can choose courses in all the study fields they are interested in. The Program is intended for candidates who work or intend to work in settings that require and expect scientific-research work in the field of administration and business sciences in the public sector- the study, creation, development and application of new methodologies, technologies and skills in administration and business sciences. The Program is designed to provide a candidate with all the necessary deep theoretical-scientific and methodological administrative-legal, organizational, economic, managerial and IT skills that are necessary to solve the most demanding research and practical issues in the selected areas in the first two years of the study, which are then used during the continuation of the study to solve specific scientific-research problems within the doctoral dissertation. The degree Program is designed to be highly interactive and multidisciplinary, which corresponds to the nature of scientific research on the one hand, and to the most demanding professional work on the other.
