Introduction
The production and transformation of food accounts for more than 20% of the national GDP, and aspects related to the environment are a growing concern for society and also an important focus of professional action.
The Master's Degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia consists of 102 ECTS (two academic years), with a common part of 60 ECTS and another specialization in plant production, animal production, agri-food industries, rural engineering, biotechnology, food economics for development and natural resources and the environment.

Program Outcome
Obtain the necessary skills to achieve the regulated profession of agricultural engineer. Employment niches include advice and management of agricultural and livestock farms, the food industry, professional practice as a facility design engineer, landscape and environmental actions, cooperativism or research. The old Agricultural Engineering degree, which corresponds to this master's degree, is accredited by the American agency ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) at the master's level of any American or European university, which is very important for the time to look for a job inside or outside of Spain.
