Introduction
The program begins with an overview of mass media and communications, and an introduction to photography and film. You will explore the international history and theory of filmmaking and photography, looking at the milestones within both industries as well as the pioneers and their key achievements.
Industry-leading guest lecturers will provide their perspective on the exciting worlds of film and photography, provoking discussion and critical thought.
In the second part of this program, there’s a strong emphasis on the practical as you’ll be specialising in filmmaking, as well as the development of photographic techniques, with a choice of electives from Photojournalism to Web Design, Superhero Cinema to New Media.
The home of many world-leading film production companies and photography studios, London is a fantastic location for this program and you can do an optional internship with a London-based film or photography company.
