What does a Landscaper do?
This Official Master's Degree in Landscaping, from Dmad, is professional and practical in nature and is the result of an exhaustive analysis of the needs of professionals who want to train in Garden Design and landscape treatment.
Modeling the space, building beauty, designing solutions, creating environments suitable for each need and with personality are the keys to a constructive discipline that is gaining more and more weight in our society and way of life.
A discipline whose main characteristic is the use of plant species as construction materials; elements of great beauty that introduce the time factor into the projects, a fifth dimension that will bring incalculable value to the works.

Curriculum
What will I learn in this Official Master's Degree in Landscaping?
Training in Landscaping begins with the study of gardens over the centuries to learn all the language, styles and trends that are used today. With this vocabulary it will be easier to approach the Garden Design techniques that are exercised in the master's degree with theoretical projects and practical exercises, to achieve ease and freedom in the line, necessary for any designer.
The understanding of space is also fundamental, so emphasis will be placed on visits to gardens and outdoor spaces to accommodate the scale and perception of the natural dimensions in which the students will work.
Knowledge of plant species, their classification and care is one of the bases of any landscaper, as well as all the elements and construction materials that the professional can count on to develop their project.
In the Official Master's Degree in Landscaping and Gardening at Dmad, the student will learn all the theoretical concepts to apply them to the theoretical cases and practical exercises that are proposed. Site visits will be made to consolidate knowledge by seeing them in the field and they will be able to have a direct relationship with real clients to progress in their professional communication.
What is the methodology of the course?
Firstly, our classes are face-to-face, since we do not understand practical teaching without networking: promoting contact with colleagues, teachers and professionals in the sector. Secondly, visits to parks and gardens or spaces on which the student will work.
From the beginning of the course, the student carries out a Landscaping Project (small or medium scale) on which he applies the knowledge acquired in the different subjects, accompanied by a tutor who will guide all his steps.
How is Dmad's Official Master's Degree in Landscaping different?
The main value of the Dmad School of Interior Design and Architecture is its teachers, prestigious professionals whose projects set trends within the landscaping and design sector in general.
They guide the student in their professional journey and resolve doubts outside the strictly academic field. You will also find a familiar and close environment where it will be very easy for you to build your professional network of contacts. It can be said that Dmad is a boutique school, tailored to our students.
At an academic level, the Dmad TITLE is OFFICIAL. And... what does this imply?
Unlike a degree issued by a university, the official degree is recognized in all countries of the European Higher Education Area and the possibility of validating the degree in the countries belonging to the Hague Convention.
An OFFICIAL degree belonging to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) is recognized in most Latin American countries through a simple procedure: Legalization or Apostille, in addition to being valid throughout Europe.
At the end of the master's degree, the student will have a portfolio with the projects they have carried out throughout the master's degree. This complete training makes our students highly qualified professionals ready to access an interesting job within the landscaping and gardening sector.
