Introduction

The Abat Oliba CEU University has its origins in the Abat Oliba CEU University Center, which created the San Pablo CEU Foundation in 1973 through an affiliation and collaboration agreement with the University of Barcelona. It began classes at its first location, on Pearson Avenue in Barcelona, in 1974 and, since then, it has trained more than 8,500 university graduates.

In 1993 it moved to the Bellesguard Campus and, as the Abat Oliba CEU higher education teaching center, it now teaches all the degrees in Law and Business Administration and Management, as well as the first cycle of the degree in Economics.

Ten years later, the new Abat Oliba CEU University was recognized by Law 20/2003, of July 4, of the Parliament of Catalonia, creating two centers in Barcelona: the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Polytechnic School of Engineering.

    Aid for Undergraduate Studies

For more than 80 years, the CEU group has been working for the university education of young people. It is the Spanish private educational institution that invests the most money in scholarships and aid. It voluntarily assumes the challenge that none of its students, with sufficient capacity and motivation, stop pursuing a university degree for economic reasons.

Abat Oliba CEU University is committed to a culture of effort and improvement. We believe in the value of giving opportunities to everyone who has a goal and strives to achieve it.

We offer all our students the possibility of requesting study aid based on their academic merits, and personal and economic circumstances, through the Study Aid Program (PAE) for undergraduate studies or the Master's Study Aid Program ( PAEM) for students of official master's degrees and specialization programs, based on discounts and public and private aid.

We also have awards and scholarships that are funded by our resources and contributions from collaborating institutions.

    Aid for Postgraduate Studies

The UAO CEU annually offers the Study Aid Program to students of master's, postgraduate, and specialization courses (PAEM), based on discounts on the registration fee.

This program, as its name indicates, helps to face the cost of master's, postgraduate, and specialization courses. The awards range between 10% and 50% of the total amount of the program and are awarded based on the student's academic record, his or her connection with the UAO CEU, and his or her family situation.
The deadline to submit these applications will be fifteen calendar days before the start of each program.

PAEM aid cannot be accumulated with each other, nor can it be applied to the CEU management fee.
