    The interdisciplinary doctoral Program in Biosciences combines science and experience from the following scientific fields: agronomy, biology, bioinformatics, biotechnology, bioengineering in health, agrifood microbiology, the economics of natural resources, the management of forest ecosystems, horticulture, landscape architecture, wood and bio-composites, nanosciences, nutrition, technical systems in bio-techniques, protection of natural heritage… The overall Program is coordinated by the Program Council located at the Biotechnical Faculty. The execution of the Program is the responsibility of the faculties coordinating the specific scientific fields. The main emphasis of the doctoral Program is on research work, on an interdisciplinary approach, and on cooperation with internationally established researchers in the field. The international exchange of students and staff is also foreseen.
