Radboud University is a student-focused research university located in the city of Nijmegen, and has been awarded the best general, traditional university in The Netherlands. Radboud University is home to seven faculties, and all faculties are centrally located on one of the greenest campuses in The Netherlands. The green campus hosts multiple campus buildings and state of the art facilities.
Nijmegen School of Management (NSM) is located in the heart of the green campus, and is one of the seven faculties at Radboud University. At NSM we like to push the boundaries of conventional thinking and have established ourselves as a distinctive management school by mobilising effectively, the benefits of multidisciplinary research and education that infuse individual disciplines to deliver societal relevance and responsible practice. NSM combines academic research and education to create a challenging curriculum in the fields of public administration, business administration, business economics, geography, environment, spatial planning and political science. Many of NSM’s programmes are rated the best in their field in the Netherlands and NSM graduates reflect this in their future careers.

Scholarships & funding
Radboud University has a limited number of scholarships available only for international Master’s students. You can find the full list, including eligibility requirements and how to apply, on our website.
It is important to note that most of these scholarships are not fully funded. The Radboud Scholarship Programme (RSP) is the only scholarship that offers both fully and partially funded scholarships.

There are libraries, state of the art study areas, cafes and a convenience store located directly on campus, as well as student support offices, and career offices providing invaluable services to Radboud University students. Radboud University also has a Green Office on campus – where students can learn more about exciting green initiatives that are on offer.
Radboud University is home to one of The Netherlands’ best university sports centres, where you will find more than 80 different sports on offer, as well as a gym and outdoor courts for playing tennis, squash, soccer, beach volleyball, hockey and a swimming pool (located off campus). The possibilities are endless. At Radboud University you can also join a sport association, or just participate at your leisure in sport classes such as yoga, spinning, aerobics and many more!
Students crave enriching experiences throughout their journey, and Radboud University offers this through academic and social opportunities, as well as a great student lifestyle, in a historical city. Radboud University is home to many student organisations and study associations. While some are especially founded to connect international students with one another, there are also clubs that focus on photography, literary, ideology, theatre, entrepreneurship, finding internships (abroad) and debating to name a few. There are also countless sport teams, cultural clubs and music associations.
Study associations particularly focus on connecting students with other fellow students from the same field of study through informal events such as parties, trips abroad, activities like quizzes, dinners and game nights. They also arrange formal events such as inhouse days, business trips and recruitment dinners to connect students with potential future employers.
Throughout the year, Radboud University and its student associations organise social events like the:

The city of Nijmegen is a vibrant student city, with 3 high and professional education institutions, more than 130 bars and cafés, many parks and a beach by the Waal river. Being the oldest city of the Netherlands, it a beautiful city with an rich history. It boasts a large historic city centre with terraces, cafes, and shops, as well as new and modern infrastructure throughout the city. For students, there are plenty of activities such as laser gaming, escape rooms, cinemas, museums and a pancake boat where you get to see Nijmegen’s surroundings while enjoying unlimited pancakes, and there are also lots of nature trails for walking, riding or enjoying picnics.
Nijmegen is an old city with a young vibe, and a great environment for students to become tomorrow’s leaders. Most students who study at Radboud University live in student complexes and student houses, share an apartment or rent a room in a private house. These accommodations are close to campus, and in the city of Nijmegen.
Radboud University offers a unique service for its international students whereby all international students (with the exception of degree-seeking students living in certain areas of Germany) can request assistance from the Admissions Office in finding accommodation for their first year of study.
Accommodation that is offered to students consist of private rooms, but usually the kitchen and bathroom facilities are shared. The large majority of the accommodation offered is mixed accommodation, which means men and women live in the same corridor and (if applicable) share the facilities. There are a few women-only corridors offered as well. The rent for these rooms can run up to €500 per month or more. However, rental prices of most rooms are between €370 and €470 per month.
It is important to research your accommodation options well in advance of your studies.

Students who are coming from abroad to Nijmegen can also find & book a student room on www.HousingAnywhere.com. The rooms on this platform are offered by students that go abroad for a study semester, exchange, Erasmus or internship.
