Zurich is home to over 60 thousand people at 20 universities and even more at other tertiary schools. It’s also known for technology and applied sciences, mainly by winning prizes at European and world conventions and by producing Noble Laureates.

Oil and gas programs can help students learn about how fossil fuels are located, extracted, processed, and refined, preparing them to work within the field of energy production. Subjects covered might include everything from geology to chemical engineering.

Switzerland has some of the world renown universites like ETH in Zurich, EPFL in Lausanne, IHEID in Geneva, University of Lausanne or the University of St. Gallen. Keep in mind, it's much better to speak the local language, so if you can't speak either French, German or Italian, better go for a language course first.
