Introduction
Bachelors in Civil Engineering
The aim of the development of the newly proposed bachelor study program Civil Engineering is to strengthen the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market by increasing their knowledge and skills on the basis of a broad theoretical and professional basis in the first two years of study, which is deepened in the selected specialization in the next two years. This concept will allow graduates to respond more flexibly to rapidly changing labor market demands.

Graduate's knowledge
The graduate profile of the newly proposed bachelor program Civil Engineering will be more broadly focused than the graduate profiles of the current B3607 civil engineering programs. As part of the joint study, the graduate, in addition to theoretical subjects (mathematics, physics, descriptive geometry), completes professional subjects in the field of building construction, engineering, transport and geotechnical buildings, building materials, building geodesy, building services and urban engineering. Within the compulsory elective courses, the student will deepen his education in the selected specialization (Building and Industrial Construction, Urban Engineering, Building Materials and Building Diagnostics, Transport Construction, Geotechnics and Underground Construction, Building Environment and Building Construction).
The graduate will find employment in design offices as well as on construction sites or building offices.
