Chemical Sciences (4 Years)
The doctoral program in Chemical sciences is designed for highly qualified professionals with the intention of pursuing their careers in research-oriented institutions, assuming managing positions in chemical and chemistry-related industries, public services, or continuing their research in an academic environment. After completing the program, graduates will acquire the ability to critically analyse, evaluate and create complex new ideas. They will be able to communicate in their scientific area and beyond and to promote scientific advancements in science and technology at the academic and applicative levels. The doctoral program in Chemical sciences is organized by the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology. The program covers three orientations: Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Chemical engineering. The main emphasis of the doctoral study is on research and research-related the activities. A special characteristic of the program is the compulsory participation of students in lectures with guest lecturers and the compulsory preparation of the corresponding reports. A selection of modular elective courses is also available, offering students the latest scientific achievements in particular areas and adapted to the needs of the individual student.
