Introduction
Economics
The Laurea Magistrale in Economics, held entirely in English, provides an advanced level of education in economics. The course structure and level of study of the LM correspond to what is offered in the international academic arena as part of an MSc in Economics course. The command of knowledge, tools, and techniques of analysis acquired in this program allows both the continuation of studies to start a career as an economist, and employment as an economic analyst or with functions of responsibility in companies, banks and public and private institutions, and international organizations. The LM draws on the disciplinary skills available in the Department of Economia Politica e Statistica, with its long tradition of research and teaching at the graduate level (the Department has been running a renowned doctoral program in Economics for decades).

Career Opportunities
A student who is awarded the MSc in Economics should have the flexibility and skills that are necessary to begin a career in academic institutions, research centres, central banks, and national or international organizations, but is well equipped also for more operative jobs in the public or private sector, where both a broad view and excellent problem solving skills are most required.
Our courses have a well established reputation in Italy and abroad. Many of our former students have continued their graduate studies in leading academic institutions and gained positions at universities, in research departments, and in private companies.
Program delivery
In addition to in-presence teaching, which continues to be the preferred method also in the next Academic Year, every single lesson will be simultaneously live-streamed and/or video recorded and uploaded on our digital platform for subsequent viewing. This mode is essential for students who are temporarily unable to be on premises.
