Introduction
At the University of Pécs, Faculty of Letters and Philosophy, you can study Italian Language and Literature as an independent course of study. Graduates will develop specific knowledge and skills through theory and practice to start a profitable working application in the field of Italian culture and language with the development of various basic skills, didactic research, international development, and special educational needs. In addition to deepening the aforementioned fields, particular attention must also be paid to interdisciplinarity.
Furthermore, the course gives candidates the opportunity to access fields of study and work ranging from tourism to the various levels and modalities of the mass media, information, and communication, as well as moving competently in the field of cultural heritage and the vast universe of Italian culture spread throughout the world.
Students will experience different methods of education, learning, and assessment including courses, seminars, tutoring, group or cooperative activities, as well as projects developed in small groups or individually. The pedagogy methods are centered on the student's skills and promote correct, careful, and practical communication, such as to improve both reasoning and collaboration skills and adaptability.
Taking into account that the University of Pécs has excellent relationships with the best universities throughout Europe, to undertake research activities, to develop and innovate systems in the field of Italian language and literature.
