Introduction
This Program explores contemporary and exciting issues in the fields of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, including disruptive innovation in the Supply Chain 4.0 era, such as Big Data, 3D Printing, IoT, Blockchain-enabled Financing, Traceability and Ethical Sourcing, Crowdsourcing and Omni Channels. The Program also offers:
- Industry visit: we have taken our students to BMW Mini Cooper, Port of Dover, Amazon and DHL
- Employability workshop: helping students in the search for jobs and placement in the area of logistics and supply chain management
- Industry-based project: High-performing students are selected to solve real business problems
The Program is delivered by world-class staff, from the Centre for Logistics and Heuristic Optimisation who have introduced supply chain improvements for several high-profile companies, including Parker Steel, Priority Freight, Port of Dover, and Eurostar. This course is suitable for graduates from any discipline and you are not expected to have any prior knowledge of Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
