Introduction
This specialized masters in energy and climate law program will present the main principles of energy market liberalization and how climate law affects the energy sector, with the EU often used as a case example.
Today, the energy sector is changing as a result of market liberalization and climate change concerns. The EU presents a typical example of this scenario but similar developments can also be found in other parts of the world.
In order to obtain an LLM degree in energy and climate law candidate must successfully complete a total of 60 ECTS. The curriculum for this program is as follows:
- Climate Law (6 ECTS)
- Economics of Regulation (6 ECTS)
- Energy Contracting (6 ECTS)
- Energy Law and Policy (6 ECTS)
- Energy Market Law (6 ECTS)
- Energy Investment and Trade Law (6 ECTS)
- The seminar International Environmental Law (6 ECTS)
- Master’s thesis (18 ECTS)
