Introduction

Master in Molecular Biomedicine

In the last decade decisive advances have been made in understanding life, in its molecular dimension, and consequently we have evolved in a vertiginous form from a disease perspective, in its diagnosis and therapeutics. Molecular Biomedicine is at the interphase between Medicine/Health and Biology and involves knowhow from Molecular Biology, Genomics, Proteomics, Human health and Pathology.

The 2nd cycle in Molecular Biomedicine (MBMM), will capacitate the student to develop conceptual, practical and methodological tools to apply to molecular biomedicine. The principal objective is to provide the student with a multidisciplinary training to be at the forefront of biomedical research and clinical diagnosis. He/she will thus obtain a broad vision of biomedicine and will acquire skills to transfer the knowledge and scientific knowhow to academia, industry or research or diagnostic laboratories. The intent is to prepare students for future professional environments.
