Introduction
Acting for Camera for Beginners
This course is for students who have little or no experience of acting for cameras and is ideal for those wishing to learn more about the process.
Using a range of commercial, television, and film scripts, students will gain experience in scenes and camera set-ups. You will develop an understanding of the more technical aspects of shooting a scene, whilst maintaining a focus on acting.
To get the most out of this course, it is recommended that students have some prior training in acting such as Acting for Beginners or Acting: An Introduction.

Curriculum
- Learn to develop a truthful, emotional connection that can be captured through the camera lens
- Learn about castings and auditions for film, television and commercials and learn how to improve your technique.
- Prepare and work on monologues, duologues and scenes from a range of television and film genres, building confidence as a performer and in particular as a screen performer
Please note, you do not produce a showreel as part of this course.
