Introduction
Finance is connected to all strategic decisions in every organisation. A professional manager requires good insights into the financial situation of the company, as it is vital to the success and continuation of that organisation. The four year bachelor’s programme International Finance & Control at Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen, will train you to become a finance professional in the international workplace.
Organisations are increasingly becoming interlinked with businesses and company divisions located abroad. The role of the finance professional is to map out risks, gather and evaluate economic data in order to provide insights and argumentations for strategic decisions. These decisions have to be practical, sustainable and ethically correct. There is an increasing demand for finance professionals who are aware of international dynamics and who can take cultural differences into consideration when
making decisions. International developments along with rapid changes in society, technology and the economy create a need for proactive, future-oriented finance professionals. These professionals perform comprehensive analyses and contribute to business cases while maintaining a critical attitude.
