Introduction
Business
Business is a two-year Ontario College Diploma program. This program is designed for students with an interest in all aspects of business. Students gain general business know-how in all areas of business including accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, operations and supply chain management, small business and project management. Ethical and sustainable business practices will be considered and students are encouraged to explore individual areas of interest through a selection of business electives. Students who would like a wide exposure to business and who desire a career in business management, whether in a large organization or a family business, will find this program particularly appealing. Students can also earn education credits toward the Certified in Management (CIM) designation from the Canadian Institute of Management. Graduates who meet admission requirements are eligible for transfer to the Business Administration - Leadership and Management Advanced Diploma.

Career Opportunities
Graduates of the Business program are prepared to enter the business world on a management career path in large and small businesses, industry, the not-for-profit sector and government. Graduates are also suited to a variety of entry-level positions, including management trainee, store supervisor, office supervisor, operations supervisor and production supervisor. Graduates may also choose to launch and manage their own small business
