Our Health and Social Care degree is designed to give you the opportunity to:
- Foster an informed and critical attitude to policies and interventions used to improve the management of service development and client care within the health and social care sector.
- Enhance knowledge of leadership and management skills and how these can be applied within a variety of sectors.
- Be familiar with the methods used to collect and interpret data.
- Help you become an informed, independent and reflective practitioner through the development and application of practical research skills.

- Systematic knowledge and conceptual understanding of current Government policies that influence leadership and management agendas in health, social care and third sector environments
- Systematic knowledge of the range of leadership and management models and theories and critical evaluation of their efficacy within health and social care so that you can apply appropriate approaches to everyday working practices
- Systematic knowledge of how sectors, organisations and businesses operate especially within health and social care and critical understanding of the issues and forces driving change in specific areas of health and social care
