Moving to Croatia without visiting the country was a giant leap, but choosing Algebra was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The school is incredibly supportive, and the specialized degrees here align perfectly with my career goals. Beyond the academics, the sense of community at Algebra is fantastic. I've met lifelong friends and found a second home here; with opportunities I'd never dreamed possible. If you're considering joining Algebra and making a move, I wholeheartedly recommend taking that leap of faith. It could be life changing. I know it was for me.

Hello, my name is Anna, and I’m a first-year student in the Digital Marketing program at Algebra University. My experience here has been nothing but incredible! I’m grateful to be at a university that truly balances academic and social life, making it easier to stay motivated and connected. In just two months, I’ve already made countless memories with friends from different programs and years. Whether it’s a casual coffee after class or a night out, each experience has felt special and created lasting connections. Algebra’s supportive community feels like a second home. Algebra University has created a well-structured schedule that provides enough challenge without feeling overwhelmed, giving us space to learn while still having time to enjoy student life. For new and international students, the Buddy Program offers a warm welcome, helping us connect with classmates, navigate the city, and settle into university life. Another great feature is the faculty’s industry experience. Our professors bring real-world insights from their own careers into every lesson, giving us a deeper understanding of what we’re learning. They’re genuinely supportive, always available to answer questions and guide us toward our goals. I appreciate that Algebra goes beyond academics, actively helping students prepare for the professional world. With opportunities like internships, Erasmus programs, and career workshops, the university provides us with the practical tools to start our careers confidently. For anyone considering or just starting at Algebra, my advice is to not let fear stop you—not in life, and not in university. From my own experience, I remember feeling a bit intimidated by some of the subjects, but the key is not to let that fear hold you back. If you put in the hard work from the beginning and take advantage of the help you can get from the professors and the university, you’ll make it through. My advice would be to start studying early and not give up. Things may get more challenging as the weeks go on, but if you stay consistent, and study regularly, you won’t feel as much pressure and won’t be as stressed. I hope we will see you join our Algebra family!

Studying in Algebra University is an experience that has helped me grow as a person and develop my soft and hard skills. As a second-year student in the 3D design programme, being able to express myself freely while simultaneously developing my artistic abilities has motivated me to produce my best work and actively engage with the community both inside and outside the classroom. Through lectures and practical work, I was able to grasp the meaning of various concepts connected with my field and then incorporate the knowledge and produce unique works that help me build my portfolio. Of course, partaking courses that cover different areas of the art and design field might pose a challenge when it comes to workload, but I believe that with good time management anything can be achieved. At the beginning of my Algebra journey, I was anxious about what’s to come and how I will fit in this new environment. Fortunately, everyone in the University was very welcoming and supportive, which helped me quickly adapt. With the help of the professors and staff, and the support of my classmates I was able to focus on my studies, develop my skills and have fun. In the end, my efforts throughout the academic year were awarded with a scholarship which assisted me in getting ready for my second year at the University. Although I enjoy a lot of things about Algebra, I would say that the simplest moments are my fondest memories, whether it is drinking coffee with my friends in the lounge or brainstorming ideas for our next projects. Simply put, Algebra University has connected me with people that will forever be part of me. If I have to give one advice for the next generation, it would be: “Just do it!”. A lot of people are afraid to take a step out of their comfort zone, but it might turn out to be a worthwhile experience.

I’m currently in my second year of the bachelor’s program in 3D Design at Algebra, and I can honestly say that my experience has met (and even gone beyond) my expectations. From the beginning, the educational program has focused on preparing us for real-world challenges, so by the time we graduate, we’ll be ready to begin our careers as skilled professionals. Each subject is designed to build different skills, giving us a strong understanding of the many sides of creativity and how to apply acquired knowledge to real work. This approach helps to develop both technical skills and our ability to think critically and solve problems. Overall, the learning experience has been hands-on and interesting, helping me grow into a well-prepared designer for today’s industry.

When I was choosing a direction for my master’s degree the 2 winning points for Croatia were: location and international programs. This country is well-known among students in the western world and not only for great parties and beautiful views. I was impressed by the range of international connections and experiences that local universities are offering. It works both ways and the diversity is growing every new year. I thought it would be a great opportunity to study the same subjects from different perspectives, creating a diverse network while having a chance to discover the most beautiful country in the Balkan region.

Luis V., Venezuela

I was very happy when I realized the high quality of education in the study program that I chose. Most of teachers in my program are very knowledgeable and I personally believe that some of them are rock stars in their fields. They are also very approachable and some of them go the extra mile and are so readily available to you that I will honestly ask them for advice on time management skills. That is probably the most remarkable feature that I can highlight from my experience as a student, but I was also surprised by the large number of areas covered in my program. It also motivates me a lot to know that my classmates are very committed to their studies, although it makes sense to find a higher level of commitment in graduate studies.

Nirupam Kumar M., India

I am from India. We don't have any university that offers game development graduate studies. I was looking for universities across Europe, and I found out that the course I am looking for is offered in Zagreb, Algebra university. The main factors I chose for education in Croatia is the curriculum is what I got attracted to most and the tuition fee, very affordable. The reason why Europe - rich in culture & people. I feel like I am on another planet, which I don’t want to leave.

Mohamed H., Egypt

I didn’t really have any sort of perception prior starting the experience and going to Croatia, I just connected with Algebra, and I felt it is the place that suits me, given that it is a very technical and modern school. Even so, I was surprised by how welcoming, supportive and friendly the people here are.
