Students can choose from one of the following tracks of study within STAR that suits their best interest and educational goals: Academic Advancement Track: A rigorous academic plan that gives recent high school graduates the essential skills and acculturation opportunities to advance and succeed in top U.S. universities and colleges. Early College Track: A one-of-kind UC Irvine program that provides a personalized and supportive academic environment for students in grades 10-12 to gain a transformative high school experience and engaging opportunities. Our unique cross-enrolled program curriculum promotes students’ academic competitiveness, scholastic development, and high school diploma attainment from our partner institution.

The Wisconsin International Scholars Program was launched in 2003 as an initiative of the International Division and the energy and commitment of a group of faculty members. The program's vision was to create an internationally focused honors program that would introduce students to significant global issues, ideas, and experiences from their first semester in Madison.

The Intensive English Center (IEC) is housed within Tennessee State University, a historically black university (HBCU) located in Nashville, TN. TSU is Nashville’s only urban and comprehensive public university, as well as middle Tennessee’s first public Carnegie Doctoral/Research institution. IEC’s Undergraduate Pathways Program will allow you to take university classes while you learn English. This program is ideal for students who have some proficiency in English and want to start studying towards their degree as soon as possible.

Along with our traditional programs of study, WKU also offers an International Pathway to Academic Success (IPAS). The International Pathway to Academic Success program is designed to facilitate international student success in several ways: exclusive courses designed for first-year international students, dedicated faculty with a commitment to international student learning, co-curricular support such as tutoring and academic workshops, and enrichment experiences to introduce students to life and study in the United States.

This certificate program is designed to provide English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction to enhance your existing knowledge, training, and job skills when English is not your native language. Additionally, the certificate program may further your ability to communicate in English and pursue employment or college opportunities in the United States.

International Year One in Art & Design allows you to begin earning credits toward your degree even if you don’t meet the academic and English requirements for direct entry. You’ll receive additional support to move you successfully through your first year and graduate in the same amount of time as domestic students. Depending on your English language scores, you’ll enter International Year One through a customized program that lasts one or more semesters.

The Associate in Arts degree emphasizes a Liberal Arts education and is designed to transfer to a bachelor's degree at a state university or SPC. Along with classes to prepare you for your major at the four-year level, you also take at least 36 hours in general education areas.

An Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree from TCC is your gateway to a bachelor's degree or higher and guarantees your admission into one of Florida's four-year public universities.
