Science at Swansea University incorporates a range of subjects, from biology through to zoology. All these subjects bring together a range of research centres and provide an understanding of the world we live in. Swansea University is renowned for its research excellence in aquaculture, climate change, geo-informatics, geography, glaciology and zoology.

Along with our traditional programs of study, WKU also offers an International Pathway to Academic Success (IPAS). The International Pathway to Academic Success program is designed to facilitate international student success in several ways: exclusive courses designed for first-year international students, dedicated faculty with a commitment to international student learning, co-curricular support such as tutoring and academic workshops, and enrichment experiences to introduce students to life and study in the United States.

International Year One in Science and Mathematics will prepare you to enter your next semester of a bachelor’s degree program at Suffolk University. Upon successful completion of International Year One and meeting university requirements for undergraduate admission, you may enter your next semester of undergraduate study at Suffolk University. This transition from an INTO Suffolk program to a university degree program is called progression.

Students can enter at Year 0 (University Foundation) and are guaranteed progression to the first year of their chosen degree, providing that they meet the progression criteria. Year 0 takes place in ICP using dedicated lecturers and benefits from small class sizes.

The Associate in Arts degree emphasizes a Liberal Arts education and is designed to transfer to a bachelor's degree at a state university or SPC. Along with classes to prepare you for your major at the four-year level, you also take at least 36 hours in general education areas.

An Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree from TCC is your gateway to a bachelor's degree or higher and guarantees your admission into one of Florida's four-year public universities.
