This 18 month production-centred course is for graduates of any discipline who want practical production skills in radio, online and television broadcasting plus a deep understanding of the broadcast industry today.

In this two-year diploma program, you will learn about concepts, audio and video production and how to produce creative and engaging video content from script writing through to a final audio mix and everything in between. The hands-on experience offered by expert professionals, combined with your interest in video production, will enable you to become proficient in creating professional content for a variety of different platforms.

Work hands-on with video production equipment starting in your first semester. Learn every aspect of the trade from behind the camera or behind the scenes, including lighting, sound, producing and editing. Canadore's fast-paced, fully-functioning video production facility is equipped with high-definition studios, cameras and industry-standard editing software and equipment. Learn to produce music videos, commercials, documentaries and webisodes, and work on live productions that are broadcast online.

The Radio, Television and Broadcast News (RTBN) program is divided into three options: Radio, Television or Broadcast News. Students choose the option that best fits their individual skills and interests, in preparation for a challenging, creative and exciting career in the media.
