Informatics (Computer Science) bachelor's degree study program is a key bachelor study program in computer science, information and communication technologies at TU of Košice. The program is aimed at the fundamental practical knowledge of the field.

The education and training of students attending the study programme Automotive Production is focused on the preparation of experts in the creation of new products, the design of production processes, management of the production of automobiles and their components. 

Theoretical and professional knowledge A graduate of the study program Applied Mechanics and Mechatronics in the study field Mechanical Engineering can define safety and operational regulations, procedures for ensuring health protection at work, technical and quality standards, in particular with a focus on mechanical engineering; and characterize technical documentation in mechanical engineering, basics of rigid and flexible bodies, principles of construction, documentation defining the technical assessment of structures

The education and training of students of the Bachelor study programme Automotive Production is aimed at gaining theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the field of advanced materials, technologies, and analytical tools in designing car components, organizing their production and assembly with the support of CAx technologies. 

Informatics (Computer Science) master's degree study program is a key master's degree study program in computer science, information and communication technologies at TU of Košice. The program is aimed at university research and cooperation with industrial practice.

Delivered entirely in English, the programme is designed to equip students with the comprehensive knowledge and practical competences required to navigate and lead the transition toward sustainability and innovation in modern industrial and business environments.

As a graduate, you will be able to use computer technology with the support of software applications, apply information systems in construction including GIS and BIM systems and their applications, manage a team of workers in the construction of complex civil structures and buildings, transport structures, prepare and manage the production of building components, manage the construction company.

Our doctoral program in Geoinformatics and Remote Sensing (GIS & RS) links to the research and education expertise of the Institute of Geography, Faculty of Science, Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice. The academic personnel and technology infrastructure of the Institute of Geography provides very favorable conditions to support the GIS & RS study. The ongoing and past research projects and published results provide evidence of our know-how and its scientific relevance.

A graduate of the Applied informatics study program acquires university education in the third degree (doctoral) in the field of applied informatics, knows the scientific methods of research and development in the field of applied informatics with a focus on methods and means to draft informatic solutions to problems, learns the principles of individual work, teamwork and project management, scientific formulation of a problem, economic, legal and environmental aspects of new solutions, ethical and social aspects of scientific work, presentation of results, will understand the applied informatics for his respective field of application, will be ready to build scientific perspective in a variety of fields of applied informatics and for a direct entry into the trade market, will find application as a member of a creative team, or it’s leader, in any field, where knowledge of applied informatics is required.

The study program Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence is an interdisciplinary study program that combines in a balanced way the knowledge of mathematics and computer science. Interdisciplinarity gives graduates greater opportunities in the selection of follow-up study programs or in practice.

The program focuses on patterns of behavior of biological systems under the influence of both exogenous and endogenous factors.
