7 Visual Design Summer Course Programs

The Contemporary Photography and Visual Culture course provides you with the essential skills and a comprehensive understanding of key concepts in photography, graphic design, and visual communication.

The Design Experience Summer Course is an intensive, full immersion, practice-based learning experience in the different fields of contemporary design. Each week of the 3-week course, taught in English, focuses on one particular discipline, the workflows involved, the history, context, and techniques used, etc. As part of the learning process, you’ll develop a specific weekly project to acquire an intimate understanding of each particular field.

Our Summer School aims at developing the students’ academic knowledge and professional skills in 2 major topics related to Computer Science – Visual computing and Artificial intelligence. You will be involved in various projects with the teaching staff and you will take courses in Visual Computing and Artificial Intelligence, which will provide you with the tools to create virtual reality, video games, virtual divides, interactive objects and to learn about optimizations methods and data mining. As an additional module, French as a Foreign Language will be included to help you socialize with the French population.

Explores modern project management by providing an enterprise-level, experiential view of the discipline focused on connecting projects to the organization's mission, vision, and values. The theme of the course is applying key project management tools and techniques, through case-based group work, which helps students identify, analyze, and develop practical proposals to real-world issues.

Provides a comprehensive overview of IT Project Management and the key processes associated with planning, organizing, and controlling software projects. Focuses on various knowledge areas such as project scope management, risk management, quality management, communications management, and integration management.

Through a combination of theory, workshops, and practical projects, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of design including line, tone, colour theory, layout design, composition, type and image across digital and paper-based formats. With an emphasis on ideas-based problem solving, you’ll develop your critical awareness of visual communication and tackle typographic and design projects. You’ll also explore a variety of illustration methods and techniques to enhance your understanding of the design process and effectively communicate ideas in 2D and 3D forms.
