Taking general or intensive French courses in the form of summer courses offers many advantages for students who wish to learn French, whether they are beginners or already initiated. Lasting one month, this summer program is designed to meet the specific needs of students and help them achieve their linguistic and cultural goals.

The Freie Universität Berlin International Summer and Winter University (FUBiS) is an intensive, academic program through which students can earn credits that may be counted towards their degrees at their home institutions. FUBiS sessions run for three to six weeks and take place both in summer and winter.

Analyze the impact of Italian media and fashion on global culture, and engage in site visits to iconic fashion and design locations in Milan. This experience is a deep dive into the influential world of Italian communication and style.

This module aims to give you a distinctive critical introduction to British Cultures as broadly conceived. We will study a variety of different cultural forms and genres which range from the late medieval period through to the present day. You will have the opportunity to study familiar material in depth, and also be introduced to a more diverse range of texts and concepts within the scope of British literature and culture. The aim is for you to acquire the skills to interpret and critique this material in relation to their historical, literary, social, and cultural contexts. The module is taught by a convenor with frequent guest contributions from academics in the department with research interests in particular areas.

Chinese Language & Culture Immersion in Taiwan is an intense program designed by the Language Center in NCU. The curriculum includes listening, speaking, reading and writing and we also offer some tutorial hours and field trips for the participants to get to know about Taiwan culture and be able to practice what they learn in the real world.

Drawing upon our vast experience in combining language and culture in multi-level classes, this course provides an opportunity to experience Japanese culture first hand with Japanese students.

This action-oriented course makes the most of the short-term study abroad environment by focusing on the situations that students encounter while in Japan.
