7 Summer Course Programs in Greece

Master Modern Greek through a three-level program from beginner to advanced. Build speaking, writing, and grammar skills while exploring Greek culture through interactive lessons, real-life scenarios, and authentic materials designed to achieve full language proficiency.

The International Summer School in Athens: Ancient Polis / Modern Metropolis gains an integrated understanding of Athens as a dynamic palimpsest of history, heritage, and urban life. Participants select a topic for an individual or team research project, developed in consultation with instructors.

In collaboration with multiple academic institutions in the United States and in Europe, this hybrid course will review the management of drug-resistant epilepsy (DRE). It will include principles and cased based scenarios of rational pharmacotherapy with traditional and novel antiseizure medications, non-pharmacological treatments (ketogenic diet) and workshops on various neuromodulation modalities.

The Summer Session of the ASCSA is an intensive introduction to Greece from antiquity through the modern period. The program has provided the most extensive exposure to Greece, ancient and modern, for generations of students of Classics and related fields. It has a strong academic component with participants researching and presenting topics on-site and offers unique opportunities to interact with eminent archaeologists in the field.

The Summer Seminars of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens are 18-day sessions designed for those who wish to study specific topics in Greece and visit major monuments with exceptional scholars as study leaders, and to improve their understanding of the country’s landscape, history, literature, and culture.

These new Quantum-based systems will not replace Classical Information and Communications ones, but will be run in conjunction with them by enhancing them where Classical ones present critical weaknesses, such as the impossibility of simulating some biochemistry systems in the pharmaceutical systems, achieving nano-scale sense of physical magnitudes, solving some hard computing problems, or warranting secure communications that cannot be never deciphered by third parties.

Marine robots are seen as game changers for marine science, deep-sea and polar exploration, environmental monitoring, oceanographic research, but also shipping.
