Study a Master of Music in the Netherlands from Zuyd University
The master degree in music offered through Zuyd University is a full-time program training professional musicians to the highest caliber.
Graduates are capable of functioning in a wide variety of professional situations. The program is meant to develop research skills, communication, collaboration, and deepen methodological and pedagogical knowledge.
After graduating from this master's degree program, students will be awarded a Master of Music certificate. This program has been accredited by the Accreditation Organization of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO). There is financial support available for participation in international master classes and international orientation.
Students can choose to do their advanced studies not just with one lecturer, but also take lessons with external professionals. The program is student-oriented, and is customized to personal entry levels, motivation, and learning outcomes. In addition, students will have the benefit of career guidance and research coaching throughout their studies.
Admission requirements
To be eligible for admission to the two-year full-time Master's degree programme (120 ECs) you must:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Music (or have attained a comparable level by other means)
- Write a personal development plan
- Complete an entrance examination
- Register with the university
