Designed for experienced clinical professionals (including health professionals, dentists and vets) who have responsibility for education and training, the Medical Education program covers the principles and methods of teaching and learning and their application to healthcare. The program provides you with the skills needed to plan and deliver successful teaching and learning sessions

Its flexible, modular structure allows you to study over a period and to a level suited to your own professional needs and circumstances.

Taught by experienced clinicians and leading academics in the field of medical education, this course will enhance your knowledge and skills as an educator and give you the confidence to apply them in your own professional practice.

Elements of the course are accredited by the Higher Education Academy (HEA). The first module, 'Essentials of Clinical Education', is accredited against Descriptor 1 (Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, AFHEA) and the Postgraduate Certificate is accredited against Descriptor 2 (Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, FHEA).
