University of Victoria - Gustavson School of Business

The Gustavson School of Business is the business school at the University of Victoria on the stunning west coast of Canada. The quality of our programs is reflected in the thought leadership our professors bring to the classroom and in the accreditations we have earned from AACSB and EQUIS, two standards of excellence that place us among the top tier of business schools worldwide.

The Gustavson School of Business focuses on three specializations: Entrepreneurship, International Business, and Service Management. Courses include the Bachelor of Commerce program and the short-term business programs offered in the winter and summer.

In the four-year Bachelor of Commerce program, students are able to get real-world experience by engaging in one year of paid, full-time work experience. They develop their global mindset, by interacting with our diverse and multicultural faculty, staff, and student body, as well as having the opportunity to do an international exchange in one of our 80+ partner institutions in more than 40 countries. They are able to explore and expand on their own interests, through our unique 2+2 program. Students become agents of change by looking beyond the bottom line and challenging the status quo.

The short-term business programs are available to both undergraduate and graduate students. The International Summer Institute for Business Management (ISIBM) for undergraduate students and the Summer Graduate Business Studies (SGBS) for master’s students run for 4 weeks in June and July. Students can gain equivalent credits from their home institution.
