The Master course is divided into three periods. The first period offers basic knowledge on the NEMS- MEMS topics. During the second period, students will have the chance to attend courses associated to a specific thematic area chosen among those activated. The Master will offer an educational portfolio that includes three thematic areas (Bio NEMS - MEMS, photonic NEMS-MEMS, NEMS-MEMS for sensors and actuators).

Key topics of study in the Nano and Micro Systems include:

  • Introduction to NEMS/MEMS and their commercialization
  • From Research to Business
  • Introduction to the materials and to their mechanical properties
  • Nanoscience and Nanotechnologies
