Doctoral School of Pharmaceutical Sciences
There are widespread possibilities of the especially advanced complex pharmaceutical research at the Faculty of Pharmacy, since its different institutes represent the whole area of pharmaceutical research from the synthesis or isolation of biologically active compounds through their pharmacological or biopharmaceutical investigations to their formulation. Students can join different fields of pharmaceutical research according to their interests, at the same time gain wide-ranging knowledge in other fields as well on the available courses. The scientific content of each program are introduced separately although they represent a single unit. Research programs: Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drugs Research, Pharmacodynamics, bio-pharmacy and clinical pharmacy, Pharmacognosy, Chemical diversity and utilisation of plants (Pharmacobotany, Phytochemistry, Utilisation of medicinal plants), NMR Spectroscopy, Pharmaceutical technology, Atomabsorption spectroscopy, X-ray crystallography of proteins, Chemometry.
