BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession which sees human movement as central to the health and wellbeing of individuals of all ages. The physiotherapists’ expertise helps to identify and maximise movement potential through health promotion, preventive healthcare, and specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitation.

Academic Requirements

2022-23 entry; 112 UCAS tariff points (or above): BBC (A-Level), DMM (BTEC), Access to Higher Education Diploma – a minimum of 45 Level 3 credits at merit grade or above.

2023-24 entry; 112 UCAS tariff points (or above), BBC (A-Level), DMM (BTEC), Access to Higher Education Diploma – a minimum of 45 Level 3 credits at merit grade or above.

Applicants to have a minimum of 5 GCSEs: Grade 4/C or above - including English, Maths & Science (equivalent level 2 qualifications will not be accepted).

Non-Academic Requirements

Any offer subject to:

  • Successful interview - The interview is comprised of a face-to-face interview at the University of Suffolk. As part of the selection process, you will be expected to demonstrate a good knowledge and clear understanding of the scope of work that a physiotherapist is required to undertake/practice in as well as the significance of the NHS Constitution and values.
  • Satisfactory health check
  • Satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
  • One satisfactory academic or employment reference

InternationalRequirements

IELTS 7.0 overall (minimum 6.5 in all components) where English is not the students' first language.
