Program description

Geological Sciences

Become a geologist!

Manage the territory and resources, broaden your horizons on the global processes of the Earth System. Understand and participate in the resolution of issues related to hydro-geological disruptions, global changes, the human footprint on the environment.

Register for graduate courses in Geological Sciences! You will embark on a path that will combine specific skills with engaging practical experiences, also in other countries, with international mobility plans.

Lay solid foundations for your training by participating in national and international research projects, even in remote areas such as Antarctica, Africa and South America. This year the graduation program offers two curricula: “Geology” organized in Siena and the curriculum in “Geology and Technologies” in San Giovanni Valdarno (Arezzo) where a Campus is available for students at an affordable price.

Thematic and interdisciplinary field trips, fundamental for geologists’ education, take place at the end of semesters and they are economically supported with Departmental funds.
