Biotechnologies
The Biotechnology degree course aims to provide graduates with a solid basic biological preparation that allows an interpretation of biological reality in a predominantly molecular and cellular key, without neglecting the systemic aspects.
The student's classroom training is integrated through the attendance of laboratory courses and internships, with the acquisition of technical-practical and IT tools necessary to acquire the experimental skills on which Biotechnologies are based.
The Sienese territory is home to an important biotechnological center. The didactic project is therefore inserted in a scientific context capable of providing highly qualified teaching, avant-garde infrastructures and industrial realities not only participating in the didactic purposes but also available to receive students both in the context of training activities and in terms of insertion into the world of work.

In addition to in-presence teaching, which continues to be the preferred method also in the next Academic Year, every single lesson will be simultaneously live-streamed and/or video recorded and uploaded on our digital platform for subsequent viewing. This mode is essential for students who are temporarily unable to be on premises.
