Fashion Brand Marketing

The fashion industry is as much about the commercial side of things as the creative. In other words, how to sell and market fashion products is just as important as how to produce them. Our Fashion Brand Marketing BA(Hons) course looks at fashion from both sides to give you the chance to develop skills wanted by businesses in the fashion industry.

From social media and digital advertising through to press adverts, there are lots of ways you can build up awareness and generate excitement about clothes and fashion. This course aims to look at all the options, including PR, marketing and promotion too, taking a broad view of everything that goes into the creation, communication and consumption of fashion products and brands.

As you study we’ll give you the chance to work on an exciting range of projects to help you build your brand awareness and marketing skills.

We’ll look at innovative and industry focused case studies. And we’ll challenge you to apply what you’ve learned to the dynamic and rewarding world of the fashion industry, both in the UK and internationally. We’ll look at some fascinating case studies of successful campaigns. And we’ll give you the chance to develop your expertise in fashion, branding and marketing, both in your project work and through opportunities to take part in projects sponsored by our industry links.

Students can choose to take optional placements while studying, and we’ll work with our connections in the fashion and textile industry to support you. We’ll also organise field trips to exhibitions and events aimed to inspire you.
