Master's Program in Life Science Informatics
The Master's Program in Life Science Informatics is designed for students with a background in mathematics, computer science and statistics, as well as for students with these disciplines as a minor in their bachelor’s degree, with their major being, for example, ecology, evolutionary biology or genetics.
The course also taught in Finnish and Swedish language.
Admission requirements
Eligibility to apply for a master's Program requires an applicable bachelor's degree or other equivalent qualification.

Program content
The Life Science Informatics Master’s Programme has four specialisation areas, so called study tracks. During the first autumn semester, each study track gives you an introductory course. At the beginning of the spring semester you are assumed to have decided your field of specialisation (study track).

- Eco-evolutionary Informatics
Scholarships & funding
Scholarships are intended for excellent students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland who want to complete a Master's program at the University of Helsinki.

The yearly tuition fee (for non-EU/EEA citizens only) is 15000€
