LLM European Law in a Global Context

This LLM program covers all the central aspects of European Union Law, but also has special attention for the global context in which the EU operates.

This unique LLM program also offers students a thorough understanding of European Law, but adds insight into the increasing links between internal and external EU policies.

Dutch diploma

Language test

  • Native speakers of English may request exemption from providing proof of proficiency. Otherwise you will need to provide proof of English language proficiency:
  • TOEFL: 100 (all sections need to be at least 21 the writing section needs to be at least 23)
  • IELTS: 7 (all sections need to be at least 6.0 the writing section needs to be at least 6.5)
  • Cambridge C2 Proficiency (CPE, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English)
  • Cambridge C1 Advanced (CAE, Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English)
  • Applicants who are taking/have completed an English-taught bachelor program at a Dutch research university may be exempt from taking an English proficiency test.
