BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography

Our BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography is ranked first for graduate prospects in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017 and earned a 100% satisfaction rating in the 2017 National Student Survey. It is approved by the College of Radiographers and the Health and Care Professions Council so you can register as a diagnostic radiographer on graduation.

Approximately half of your time is spent on clinical placement in different settings to give you insights into the varying workloads, practices and roles you will encounter in radiography. Our leading-edge facilities include a purpose-built diagnostic imaging suite with the latest x-ray, radiography, ultrasound and bone densitometry systems. A state-of-the-art immersive suite also offers a simulated environment to practise your skills in a realistic setting.

UCAS Tariff 128 points Your offer will be based on your predicted grades from your core A2s (full A levels), BTEC Diploma etc including at least a grade B in either Biology, Physics or Chemistry A Level (or equivalent qualification). We will accept up to 16 points towards the total from level 3 qualifications such as AS (where those AS levels are not taken on to A2 level), the Extended Project, or Music qualifications. A good application, performance and experience will be taken into account if you do not meet the criteria/offer conditions.
A level ABB At least a grade B in either Biology, Physics or Chemistry A Level (or equivalent qualification).

Access to HE Diploma D: 18 credits

P: 0 credits
Access to Science preferred. Pass Access to Higher Education Diploma (60 credits) inc. 45 graded credits at level 3. At least 24 credits must be a pure science (Biology preferred, Chemistry and Physics accepted)
GCSE/National 4/National 5 GCSE Maths, English and double Science Grade C/Grade 4 (or above) or equivalent qualification
