BSc (Hons) Counselling and Psychotherapy Principles and Practices

Gain detailed knowledge of all the latest theories and their applications within contemporary counselling and psychotherapy. Our tutors include influential researchers and high-profile practitioners who have active roles on the leading professional bodies. Facilities include a clinical skills suite with consultation rooms and group behavioural observation rooms.

There are lots of opportunities to practise your counselling and psychotherapy skills – on your own, as a group and in real life contexts. You will visit a range of health and social care settings to observe and gain experience. There are many guest lectures and opportunities to work with students from related disciplines, like nursing and social work – all great preparation for your career. This course is also available with a Foundation Year.
