Program description
Teaching takes place at the Parkgate Road Campus and the Kingsway Buildings.
We will encourage you to creatively engage with traditional forms of theatre, as well as beyond the confines of a traditional theatre space. We want you to enjoy the challenges of creating work in urban and rural spaces, community centres and schools, and through digital media. Scholars/practitioners and visiting artists may be involved in teaching this course, all of whom share a passion for the discipline and are actively involved with the professional industry.
Theology and Religious Studies encourages you to consider the significance of religious practices and perspectives in the contemporary world, as well as inviting you to think critically about the Bible, Christian belief, philosophy and ethics. You will also study a wide range of areas within core subjects of theology, religious studies and biblical studies.
