Program description
MSc in Biological Sciences
The second level degree in Biological Sciences, held in English, aims to train
graduates with advanced knowledge and expertise in update biomolecular and
biotechnological methodologies for application in diagnostic, nutritional, and
environmental fields.
Indeed, students can choose among three parallel curricula:
- Molecular diagnostics and biotechnology
- Nutrition and functional food
- Biodiversity and ecosystems management
These curricula, in combination with core courses, give students flexibility to tailor
their degree to their background, interests, and career goals. In order to support the mobility and the successful integration of students and graduates in an international context, all the courses will be presented in English
Admission requirements
- Bachelor Degree in suitable subjects (at least 15 ETCS in basic courses, such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and a min. of 60 ETCS in courses in biological areas.
The degree must satisfies the admission requirements to university Master Degree courses. - The study curriculum is subjected to evaluation by the degree course committee.
- English Language Proficiency warmly suggested at level B2 of the CEFR.
- Course degree with a limited quota reserved to non EU-citizens.

ERDIS SCHOLARSHIPS are awarded on the basis of merit and certified family economic situation.
The scholarship offers university tuition fee waiver, food and lodging free of charge in the Student residences and canteens from October to July.
