Description of International Financial Services MSc
The MSc in International Financial Services aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the dynamic, characteristics, threats and opportunities facing the financial services sector.
The financial services industry is of crucial importance to the global economy. The industry serves and connects individual investors to business, trade and commerce. It is responsible for our savings, investments and pensions and provides credit to individuals and businesses.
The Masters degree programme will provide you with an insight into the important issues facing the financial services industry whilst considering the importance of key functions within a financial services business such as marketing, compliance and corporate finance.
Teaching across the International Financial Services programmes is via a combination of formal lectures supported by tutorials and seminars. A key feature of the Buckingham teaching method is the use of small tutorial groups which encourages healthy dialogue between faculty and students and between students themselves.

Students wishing to study the International Financial Services Masters degree programme must meet the following criteria:
- First or Second class honours degree with significant accounting content
- IELTS of 6.5 + TOEFL of 233
